Hello, how you doing, Mr. Blankfort. My name is Lester Latney, I'm
with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. I received your fax this
morning regarding, I guess, some issues that the organization Take
Back KPFA has regarding the management  of Pacifica Foundation.
I just wanted to let you know I'd received it.

One point I'd just like to make right now--of course it's something I
thought we had clarified  and resolved back when----that ---that you
keep making references to Mr. Brian McConville and his dismissal as
having something to do with KPFK or KPFA or the Pacifica Foundation,
as I mentioned then, that the two had no correlation whatsoever.  His
dismissal was---dealt with personnel matters and had nothing to do
with the investigation of this case, or an inquiry into this case.

So, I would appreciate it very much that any correspondence---any
future correspondence you have that you make no reference to that at
all, because it has no relevance whatsoever----regardless of what you
may hear from other people, or other persons, it's just an untruth.
So, I `d appreciate that.  We can deal with the issues at hand, but
I'd appreciate if you left that matter alone and let it die where it
is. Thank you very much.
