Radio Mutiny seized by FCC & US Marshals
Mon, 22 Jun 1998

At approximately 6:30 Eastern time the FCC executed a search warrant with
armed US Marshals and seized all equipment and the antenna of Radio Mutiny
91.3 Philadelphia.  No one was arrested or physically harmed.  Radio
Mutiny's ACLU legal counsel was contacted.

FCC Chief of Compliance Richard Lee himself led the effort, and he (or
another FCC agent) personally broadcast that the station was officially
being taken off the air before pulling the plug.   Radio Mutiny staff meets
tomorrow night to discuss what to do next...
