The "Must Carry" Policy
policy of the Pacifica Administrative Council-6/93



This National Program Process Agreement was developed by the Administrative Council and approved by the National Board in June 1993.

Pacifica National Programs

1) National Program Staff must attempt to talk to the Program Director of the Manager at each Pacifica station about potential National Programs.

2) If three out of rive stations want the program, it becomes a must carry.

3)The National Program Director has the authority to declare a program a must carry based on #2 and/or news value and urgency.

4) Program Directors and Managers will be evaluated on compliance with this process.
