Tonight, 1/30/97, at the San Rafael Listener Forum Jerry Brown's fundraising letter of 1/14/97 was distributed. In it he is requesting money from his supporters to finance his upcoming extended two-hours- each-day radio show.

Ginny Berson denied that he had been given that second hour. She said: "In November I had a conversation with Jerry and asked him to think about going to two hours. It was not an offer and it was not a committment and I don't know at this point whether we will do that. He misunderstood my asking him to think about it and his willingness as a done deal. It's not a done deal. It was a misunderstanding."
