• The CPB, The Nation and Pacifica Radio - CPB's  Sagner Complicit in Pacifica Cover-up - this article provides some insight regarding the CPB's unwillingness to sanction Pacifica for violations. Though Sagner is no longer Chair of CPB, this sheds some light as to why the CPB rejected it's own investigator's findings of wrongdoing by Pacifica in 1997. This is timely, as Pacifica's Board is now using fear of CPB sanctions as an excuse to seize control of the network. In actuality, CPB has bent over backward to further the aims of the current regime.  Somebody in Washington wants Pacifica under control, and wants a gag on "Free Speech Radio."
